Ed Rice joined EMF in 2019 as Director of Infrastructure and was promoted to VP of Enterprise Infrastructure before becoming Chief Technology Officer in early 2023.
Ed is grateful for the opportunity to use his background in technology and business development to help EMF reach more people for Jesus.
Prior to joining the ministry, Ed served as Chief of Operations at DXC Technology, where he led the successful turnaround of their Business Process Services team. He also worked in multiple roles during his years at Hewlett Packard, including COO of Mergers and Acquisitions, VP of Marketing IT, and Director of Operations, leading the Separation Management Office as they divided the world’s 16th largest company into two Fortune 50 companies—HPE (Enterprise) and HPI (Industrial)—in just nine months.
Ed also served on WC3’s Technical Architecture Team responsible for reviewing standards and design related to advancing the technologies of the world wide web in the early 2000s.
Outside the office, Ed volunteers his time and talents by serving his local community. He is Board Chair of Christian Youth Theatre of Sacramento, as well as Co-Chair for the Nevada County 4H program.
Ed holds degrees in religious studies, business, education, and technology and is passionate about sharing knowledge with the next generation. He serves as Adjunct Professor at William Jessup University, an educational institution known for bringing real-world experience into the classroom. Ed teaches the cap course for Jessup’s MBA program.
Ed currently resides in Northern California with wife and has two children.
