Considered one of the most remarkable venues in the world, Red Rocks Amphitheatre has become a bucket list stage for many artists, regardless of genre. Located in Morrison, Colorado, right outside of Denver, the National Historic Landmark opened in 1941 on terrain originally occupied by Native Americans. Sitting at an elevation of more than 6,400 feet, the natural beauty, scenic vistas and superb acoustics of the 9,525-seat amphitheater have hosted performances by music royalty, including The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Dianna Ross and U2.
An underground tunnel boasts the signatures of countless artists fortunate enough to grace the respected stage across more than eight decades. Among the colorful autographs, Christian music fans will find the names of some of their favorite artists, who have played the venue — many of them multiple times — throughout Red Rocks’ hallowed history. Each year, K-LOVE hosts two hit-filled nights of incredible music at the venue, showcasing the brightest acts in the faith-based realm. This year is no exception. The 2025 installment of “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks” will take place Aug. 5-6. But that won’t be the only time Red Rocks will radiate Christian music this year. Here’s a look at every Christian artist headlining Red Rocks in 2025.
MercyMe
MercyMe first played Red Rocks in the summer of 2019 before returning three years later in 2022 for another sold-out show at the revered amphitheater, after which they headlined “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks” in 2023. The award-winning band heads back to the coveted stage Apr. 22 where they are set to perform a full show, featuring their biggest hits, as well as new selections from their forthcoming studio project, like current single “Oh Death.” Additionally, concertgoers will have the unique opportunity to be extras in the group’s film, “I Can Only Imagine 2,” as they capture a pivotal scene for the highly anticipated sequel. John Michael Finley, Dennis Quaid and Trace Adkins have been tapped to reprise their roles as frontman Bart Millard, Millard’s father and MercyMe’s manager, Scott Brickell, respectively. Milo Ventimiglia has also been added to the cast as singer-songwriter Tim Timmons. “I Can Only Imagine 2” will release in theaters nationwide Mar. 20, 2026.
Forrest Frank
Although Forrest Frank is mostly playing arenas this spring, Red Rocks checks another dream off his bucket list as his star continues its meteoric rise. The Texas native will stop at the iconic venue May 5, bringing his “Child of God Tour: Part II” to Colorado’s most scenic amphitheater and giving his GRAMMY®-nominated debut the live treatment. Meanwhile, Elevation Rhythm will provide direct support for Frank before returning to the historic stage Aug. 6 for night two of “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks.” The tour date marks the first time both Frank and ELEVATION RHYTHM have ever performed at Red Rocks.
TobyMac
Two nights after Forrest Frank makes his Red Rocks debut, TobyMac will hit the stage with SoCal rock band Switchfoot and rising act Cochren & Co. on May 7. Toby first played Red Rocks as a member of dc Talk back in 1994. He’s since appeared at the venue numerous times, including as a headliner for “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks” in 2022 and as part of a multi-artist visit in 2014 when he shared the bill with Skillet and Lecrae. Switchfoot previously graced the legendary stage with NEEDTOBREATHE in both 2015 and 2016 and again in 2021. Cochren & Co. will play Red Rocks for the second time following their first appearance back in 2022.
Lauren Daigle
Nine-time K-LOVE Fan Award winner Lauren Daigle will bring her chart-topping hits, such as “You Say,” “Thank God I Do” and “Trust In You,” to Red Rocks on Aug. 5, headlining the first of two installments of “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks.” Previously, Daigle hosted a pair of nights there back in 2022, with special guests Crowder and Patrick Droney offering support. She made her debut at the landmark amphitheater when she brought her “Look Up Child World Tour” to Colorado in the fall of 2019. When she returns this summer for the 2025 edition of “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks,” she’ll be accompanied by Tauren Wells, Ben Fuller, Josh Baldwin and Caleb & John.
Elevation Worship
Charlotte-based outfit Elevation Worship will grace the Red Rocks stage for the second time when they headline night two of “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks” Aug. 6, following an evening highlighted by Daigle and friends. The star-studded Aug. 6 lineup also includes Gospel trailblazer CeCe Winans, newcomer Seph Schlueter and sister collective ELEVATION RHYTHM. The reigning K-LOVE Fan Awards Group of the Year previously played Red Rocks back in 2019 during a “Worship on the Rocks” event that also featured Jeremy Riddle, Steffany Gretzinger, UPPERROOM and more.
Chris Tomlin
2025 will deliver Chris Tomlin’s 9th time at Red Rocks when he helms “Worship Under the Stars” Oct. 21. Tomlin made his debut at the iconic venue in 2013 with Louie Giglio and Kari Jobe. He hosted “Worship Night in America” there in 2015. The father of three then returned in 2017, 2019 and 2022 — each time for two consecutive nights, making him the first Christian artist to ever perform back-to-back shows at Red Rocks. This fall, the premier worship leader will take over the amphitheater for one night only as he headlines a handful of outdoor venues across the country, including New York’s Central Park and Baltimore’s Pier Six. Following last year’s world tour, the “Holy Forever” singer has a limited number of dates on his calendar for 2025, so Red Rocks attendees will be among the fortunate few who are able to see the singer-songwriter live this year.
Zach Williams
Zach Williams’ Oct. 27 appearance at Red Rocks will mark his third time at the venue and his second time to headline. Williams was previously a part of the lineup for “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks” events back in 2021 and again in 2023. The Arkansas native will bring his “Revival Nights” outing to the historic amphitheater this fall with We The Kingdom, Ben Fuller and Leanna Crawford in tow. The hitmaker will, no doubt, treat fans to new music from his fourth full-length studio project, which is slated to feature his new single, “Jesus Loves,” when it drops later this year.
